Buswalks and lookouts
Being on the edge of the Shoalhaven Gorge, Tallong has access to a host of incredible hikes and lookouts. You can visit Badgery's Lookout, Long Point Lookout or even hike down into the Shoalhaven River in the gorge if you’re an experienced hiker.
Non-motorised water sports
Take advantage of Tallong's beautiful weir, grab out your swimmers, canoe, kayak, paddleboard or even the boogie boards and hit the pristine waters. The weir is surrounded by bush and cliffs for a smooth and tranquil day in the water - perfect for beginners!
History and culture tour
Learn about Tallong's long history since the colonial Meehan and Throsby expedition to the settlement of township that occurred in 1868 when the Great Southern Railway arrived.
